You love your kids and you want to be the best mom you can be.  You also want a fulfilling career and/or personal growth and wellbeing.  You’ve been struggling for sometime to balance the these two parts of your life, and it’s taken a toll.

You’ve been feeling:

  • Stressed and exhausted

  • Overwhelmed by competing demands at home and work

  • Like you’re not measuring up as a mom

  • Resentful and impatient toward your kids and/or partner

  • Guilty for spending time at work or on yourself

I’ll help you feel:

  • Less stressed, more calm and more joyful in daily life

  • More confident in your parenting abilities and decisions

  • Proud of the job you’re doing as a mom and while also pursuing your career goals and personal growth

  • More present and connected to your kids and spouse

  • Provide a great role model of motherhood for your own daughter (who may one day be a mom, too!)

I’m doctor Raquel Muller, and I’m not only a psychologist, but I'm  also a working mother, just like you.  As a wife, mother of two, and professional therapist for 17 years I have struggled with the conflicting and multiple demands of raising a family and being an attentive partner, while also pursuing personal fulfillment through my career.  In my work I use my professional skills and personal experiences to teach working moms strategies to help them reclaim the joy of motherhood and find fulfillment both at work and in their relationships.

Sometimes this takes the form of psychotherapy, such as if you're experiencing depression, anxiety, or experiencing relationship distress. Other times coaching is the more appropriate option, if you're already functioning well and just want some skills to enhance what you're already doing. If you would like more information to help you decide whether therapy or coaching is more appropriate for your situation, I recommend you check out my frequently asked questions page.  If you're still unclear I can help you sort it out by having a phone consultation.
